NFT stands for non-fungible token. If you are like me, even after hearing the name many times over, I still didn’t know what it meant. After doing extensive research in breaking down its name and the function of an NFT, I found the simplest definition is that an NFT is an item that is bought, owned, and sold solely as a digital item. For example, I hold my original drawing of Whitney Houston, an NFT buyer owns access to a digital copy of this drawing by which they have the right to hold or sell their art.
