About me

My art story began in the fourth grade. My teacher, Mr. Fisher, asked our class to copy a picture of a pilgrim and a Native American. I thought it was just an assignment. Nothing special. I simply put down everything I saw, and this became the beginning of my journey.

In eighth grade, my teacher, Mrs. Brown said, ‘You are an excellent copier.’ I thanked her, not realizing she saw something I did not. What I was doing was not just copying, it was seeing.

Years later, when presenting a Philosophy paper in graduate school, I could not find the right image, so, I drew one. A friend’s six-year-old son stopped, stared, and asked, ‘How do you do that?’ I said, ‘I don’t know. It feels like everyone can do it.’ He shook his head and said, ‘Oh.’ Then he left and returned to playing. This was the moment I realized that what I had was a gift.

But here is the part that still touches my heart. I no longer have those drawings. The ones that shaped me. The ones that started it all. They have been lost, destroyed, or simply faded away. But if these drawings had lived on the blockchain, they would still exist safely preserved, protected, and untouched by time, which is the power of turning traditional art into digital assets.

Today, my mission is to help artists like me who have poured their hearts into their creative work learn how to preserve their art safely, share it globally, and build a legacy that lasts.
