One morning, I looked at a drawing made by someone I love, and it made me smile.

An NFT (which stands for non-fungible token) is a special kind of digital file that lives on something called the blockchain. Think of the blockchain as a super-safe, digital museum where your artwork can be saved forever. It cannot be erased, lost, or damaged.

A Personal Story

Try This Joyful Art Exercise:
- Find a drawing that makes you smile. Maybe it is one of your own, or one your child or grandchild made.
- Ask yourself: Why does this drawing make me happy? What memory or feeling does it bring?
- Take a photo of it. Keep it safe on your computer.
- Write one or two sentences about why it matters to you.
- Now imagine this: You could turn that memory and feeling into an NFT, so it lives forever and can be shared with others.
This little activity shows you that you already have what it takes to begin. You do not need to change anything about the artwork. You only need to believe it is important.
