Today I want to tell you about a special drawing I made. It is a portrait of my father and grandfather. These two men have passed on, and I wanted to honor them through my art. So, I picked up my pencil and drew their faces with care and dedication to capturing their essences for the generations to come. It felt good to bring their story to life on paper.
But then, I did something even more exciting. I turned this drawing into an NFT.
You may ask, “What is an NFT, and why would I do that?” Great question! NFT stands for “non-fungible token.” This may sound big, but here is what it means: it is a digital way to keep your art safe and share it with the world on something called the blockchain. Turning my drawing into an NFT did not take away its meaning. It added to it. Now, it lives in a new way and forever way.
